VISWES: A virus sequence web search system using open source component for comparing oncolytic viruses sequence

Oncolytic viruses for cancer therapy have achieved favorable result in clinical trials in various several cancers. It is considered that the oncolytic viruses defer from other viruses have some specific genetic sequences which lead cancer cell lysis. This paper presents VISWES system which could finds a genetic sequence relationship among different virus genomes and provides visualization function to display it. By utilizing VISWES, we could find related sequences among virus genomes called oncolytic viruses and phylogenetic singularity of those viruses.
